Chapter 10

In this chapter the Grammar is the tool we use to tie all our ideas together. Process of developing flow of thought from sentence to sentences is known as elaboration. In this chapter the three steps is important that is, choosing the core idea, choosing the way we want to elaborate it, choosing the way we are going to bridge it into core idea.

My learning view;

New thing that I have learnt from this chapter is flow of thought from sentence to sentence is important to develop from grammar and communication. After learning to build a continuation from sentence to sentence it is also important to develop a flow. It is not a single thought; instead it is a flow of thoughts which will be complicated also. Linking of the statements is also needed for which we have developed connectors. And in this chapter elaboration and summarizing is also important. These things that I leant from this chapter.

What I knew from this chapter;

I knew that proper explanation has to be given for our ideas in order to make it to reach people. And  also knew that there must be proper flow of thought from one sentence to another sentence, so we can easy to understand the sentence. And also emphasis on certain thoughts can be made to stand out if them their own paragraph.  

Mistakes;

While doing the exercise I found that proper idea of the concepts has to be developed in order to understand the basic meaning of the concept.

Correcting the blog;

According to this concept that I have made some changes in annual report. So this chapter is helping me to understand the basic concepts of framing sentences that made my blog better.

Applying to the Subject;

This concept can be applied in the theory subject because each and every needs proper understanding, summarizing, evaluating and finally transfer of knowledge to the reader. And it wills helpfull to write assignment, and the Report.

This book is helpfull to people, each and every chapter is important. So people can improve their communication and way of writing skill. I learned many things in this book. And I get some knowledge about to way of writing. And I improved my self a lot. And I request to every one to read this book, this is very easy to understand and its very simple and clear. I thank to giving such a books for us so I improve my self.

Chapter 9

In this chapter we know about the clarity is very important and hence clarity principle has to be implemented. This concept is more important in picture images because an image gives more than one meaning so the clarity principle has to be applied here. Each of the images will give new opportunities which also create different meanings from a single sentence.

My learning view;

In this chapter what I learned is every picture words have meaning, and also know about how to use clarity principle. And sometimes writer also brings different expectations to the reader and at the end gives turning points which a reader would not have expected to happen. In such cases proper understanding of the statements is important to know the exact meaning behind.

What I knew about this chapter;

I knew that few sentences will have more than one meaning. And different kind of meaning was chosen to give different result or outcome. And also I knew that some area that I learnt to bring out the underlying meaning.

Mistakes;

While working out the exercises I trouble to find the answer, but after solving few questions I developed few ideas which made me to understand the things easily.

Correcting the blog;

I have not made any changes in my blog.

Applying to the Subject;

The concept can be applied to different subjects whom we study so that we can learn to understand the correct meaning of the concepts. And it is helpful to the readers to understand the sentence easily and simple.

 This book is important to people, so they can improve their communication and way of writing. So according to this book they can improve themselves. They need not be depending to others. This is my personal opinion. So I request everyone should read this book.

Chapter 8

In this chapter we added clarity techniques to simplicity techniques. And we have made sure that our images cannot be misunderstood, just as we previously made sure that our relationships could not be misunderstood. Here the main is to communicate our thoughts or transfer to others mind we do this which we do using picture words and connecting words.

My learning view;

In this chapter we have to learn that, the ultimate aim of writing sentences is that we want our readers to clearly understand what we are going to express. But if writer wants to tell something and reader takes it in different manner then the purpose will not remain. So clear and proper understanding is important. And also I know in this concept the picture word which gives more than one meaning so while trying to create a new image then more importance has to be given because there is a chance that the meaning may be different. So these views are I learned from this concept.

What I knew about this chapter;

I knew that to build sentences the first process is to pick out images. And then find the relationship we want to show others. And I knew that main goal of writing is to communicate properly with the people. But how exactly it has to be done is clearly understood by reading the chapter. I also knew that the information that we want to express must me properly brought out to retain the purpose.

  

Mistakes;

While working out the Questions I found that creating image of few sentence has to be given much important. Because images give more than one meaning.

Correcting the blog;

The blog can be improved by this because we will have an idea about how we must frame sentences in order to reach people. If it is simple and clear then it will give positive impact for our blog.

Applying to the subject;

This concept can also be applied in our subjects because if we know to write clear sentence the ultimate aim is to make people comfort in reading. So it is easy to understand them.

This chapter overall about to how to write clear sentence. And we have to use picture words, without picture words sentence are empty and without connecting words they are misunderstood. So we have to write clear sentence.

                                              Chapter 7

This chapter is something same as earlier one because we now know the importance of simplicity. But in building simplicity we may arise another danger of monotony. Because in making sentence structure simple and clear sentence structure often may intrude upon the reader’s intention. So this chapter is overall about how to use repeated words and how to making sentences short and how to avoid Monotony.

My learning view;

In this chapter, I have learned the opposite process. I have learned how to take sentences so repetitious and short that they were annoying the reader, and transform them into longer sentences. Simplicity is important which makes statements apparent. Simple and clear. But when there is more simplicity there arise a concept of monotony which is dangerous. As a result simplicity must be designed in order to maintain the actual meaning of the sentence.

What I knew about this chapter;

What I knew from this chapter is that Simplicity emerges, as we have seen in the last chapter, from this making sentence short, making Connectors apparent, and from using the most familiar sentence structures as often as possible. Simplicity is needed while forming sentences and from this chapter I came to know that preventing monotony is also important in order to maintain the actual meaning of simplicity. If there is more monotony then it will be difficult to understand the concepts.

Mistakes;

While solving the exercise I found that if the concept of the chapter is not correctly analyzed then it is not easy to solve as the concept so simplicity and monotony are complex.

Correcting the blog;

According to this concept I did not make any changes in my blog. If I felt that the concept if was already studied I could have changes in my blog. So I can make my blog as creatively.

Applying to the Subject;

The concepts can be applied in our rest of our subjects as maintaining simplicity and controlling monotony is important. So readers can enjoy our sentences while applying our theory paper.

In this chapter, we have learned the opposite process. In this the image in all cases gives the same meaning and when all actors and actions are the same then it will be difficult for the readers to understand the actual meaning. In this chapter we learned How to avoid Monotony.
